The staff at Dr. Jones & Gauthier Family Dentistry in Alexandria are dedicated individuals who are kind, patient, and caring. We are here to ensure a pleasant experience by providing the best care possible with team members who are energetic, experienced, and communicate well with our patients. The doctors, hygienists, dental assistants, scheduling coordinators, and office managers are eager to make our patient's dental experiences time-efficient, pain-free, and educational.
Our Doctors
Dr. Kurt E. Gauthier, DDS
Graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, has been in practice at our location since 1998.
W. Preston Jones, DDS
W. Preston Jones DDS has joined the practice as a family dentist.
Dr. Preston Jones earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Louisiana State University, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the LSU School of Dentistry. Inspired by his father’s legacy in dentistry, Dr. Jones always envisioned returning home to work alongside him and carry on the family tradition.
Today, Dr. Jones is proud to be part of the team at Gauthier & Jones Family Dentistry, where he values the close-knit, family-oriented atmosphere. He takes great pride in caring for his patients and building lasting relationships within the community.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Jones enjoys spending quality time with his family, attending Mary Mother of Jesus Church, managing his land in Woodworth, and getting outdoors to fish and hunt.
Dr. Blake Painter, DDS
Dr. Painter earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Louisiana Monroe before receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine.
Born and raised in the community he now serves, Dr. Painter is proud to return home and care for the people who helped shape him. He chose dentistry because it allows him to combine his passion for helping others with hands-on care while building lasting relationships with his patients. He is committed to providing compassionate, personalized treatment and helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
Outside the office, Dr. Painter enjoys spending time on the lake with family and friends, fishing, hunting, and staying active through exercise. He and his wife, Lauren, are excited to build their future in the community and look forward to giving back through volunteer dental care.
